Why are pot heads worse then child molester's?

It’s seems like and easy answer, obviously the child molesters deserve to be burned at the stake and pot head should get a slap on the wrist. Seem like the right thing….YA RIGHT
Every morning I watch the local and world news and EVERY morning with out fail I watch the stupidity of law and government officials….Every morning some asshole has molested some innocent child, or stole their youth and changed their lives forever…But that’s okay because the government will sentence them sure to, 3 maybe six months if we are really lucky they will get a whole year. Great….
And then I see during the same news cast the marijuana growers and sellers are serving years and years for selling a drug that lets face it has never hurt anyone…And in fact only get people hurt because of the laws that have made it illegal in the first place. Even if you don’t agree with people using or selling weed( marijuana) you have to admit it doesn’t compare even to the slightest of child molestation….yet every morning child diddlers and people found with child pornography are pushed under the rug, like it’s all a big hush, hush secret, little time little news coverage…I as a parent want to see more justice in this world, government and the police need to spend more time catching these bastards and sentencing them to life…I’m not saying they shouldn’t go after drug dealers and such but really, when they are getting more jail time them child destroyers it’s just wrong ….

I am in total agreement with you here. Why waste our time and money on pot heads when the true money and time should be put towards putting away these molesters. I am actually working on a blog about what should be done with child molesters and I think it is going to be quite controversial since I believe in chemical castrastion. GREAT HUB!!
I have never heard of that...unfortunaly it doesn't blind them or diable their hands....maybe making them catatnic would be better..lol.. thanks for hhe comments
One of the greatest facets about both life and freedom is the differences among people, places and things and how these differences manifest and shape lives over time. We also enjoy different activities, considered 'good' and 'bad' only by someone's reference point (country, laws, age, experiences, etc.). For the record, my reference point is such that I want to see all molesters removed from society, too. All that said, there are many seemingly unequitable aspects of life all around us everyday, be they co-worker favoritism, waiting-line cheating, or law differences among states. I feel we should look at them all inividually and then examine reasons for why the additional focus, or lack of focus, on the particular subject. I just don't feel there is anything to gain by putting molester justice on one hand and how we handle folks caught for posession in the other.
The news organization probably did not expect viewers to make inferences or do comparisons of the relative punishment for each.
And how nice it is that you can blog about it, and we can all comment! :-)

I agree entirely. They are way too hard on those who use weed, while people who abuse children are treated with kid gloves. Something needs to change. And I agree with the chemical castration lady, although that doesn't go nearly far enough.
Is Chemical Castration a permanant and one time deal, or is it a medication that needs to be taken everyday? If so it won't work because they won't take the drug. That being said. Pediphiles should been thrown under the jail, throw away the key. And forced to live on Bread and water. And I still think that is too mild. But What else is there to bad there isn't an exile island somewhere, let them violate each other.
