Lots of ways to use Flavored Butter
Their are so many ways to add a little flavor to your everyday meals, try using herb butters for all your meats, vegetables and appetizers. Try the recipes below for a wide variety of foods, try making your own mixtures up with you favorite flavors.
Idea: Try warming butter till its liquid and spread on your favorite shish-kabob recipe for added flavor.
Or toss some in with you favourit cooked noodles. Use add a spread for round toasts, bread ticks
or for french breads. Also makes a great spreads for bagels and muffins. Flavour a hint of butter
to all your hot vegetable dishes.
Onion Butter
Onion Butter
6 Tablespoons butter, Salted or unsalted is your preference
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
In small saucepan melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Stir in onion powder and cook
until golden, stirring constantly. Cool and cream into remaining 4 tablespoons of butter.
Shape into molds or balls, if desired. Chill. Server over baked potatoes, hamburgers, pork chops,
steaks or season you vegetables. Spread over herbed bread or dinner rolls too.
Tarragon Butter
Tarragon butter
1/2 cup butter
1-2 teaspoons crushed fresh or dried tarragon
1 teaspoon tarragon white vinegar, or, 1/2 teaspoon regular white vinegar
Cream butter and tarragon together, add vinegar mix well. Chill as needed. Use on grilled chicken
or broiled baby potatoes. Also goes great with fish.
Paprika Butter

6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
In small saucepan melt 2 tablespoons butter. stir in onion powder and cook until golden, stirring
constantly.. Cool and cream into remaining 4 tablespoons butter. Shape into balls or into molds.
Chill. Serve on Broiled or grilled poultry or fish. Terrific on baked potatoes and many other vegetables.
Oregano Butter
Oregano butter
1/2 cup salted butter
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh oregano
1/4 teaspoon white wine vinegar
Cream butter with oregano, add white wine vinegar. Great for cooked vegetables, mix with warm
noodles, or spread on french bread. Also good for pork chops fish and steak.
Cilantro and garlic Butter

1/2 cup softened butter
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro leaves
1 tablespoon chopped chervil
1 clove garlic, chopped
Juice of one lemon or 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Cream butter with cilantro, chervil and garlic. Add lemon juice, stir. Great for Beef, Lamb and Pork, also good
on steamed baby red potato's.
